Sadly I have to say farewell to Jim, my lovely husband.

He didn't deserve Dementia, which tormented him and caused a separation between us.

But right up to the end he was kind and protective to me.

I hope he was able to recall happy times in the family, with our two daughters whom he loved and admired.

Elaine and Carol were often in his thoughts despite of the Dementia.

He cared about the wider family too, although distance gradually diminished our contacts.

I am thankful that he passed peacefully.

Finally at rest.
